We have both taken career breaks from the stresses and strains of jobs in the UK so that we can restore and renovate our two Breton cottages. [click to enlarge]") | | When we first discovered Le Stang, it had been left uninhabited for more than two years - the roof leaked and the grass in the garden was at head height! Once we’d repaired the roof and shown a bit of tender loving care to the doors and windows, we completely redecorated and refurbished the cottage from top to bottom. A new fitted kitchen and a cosy log burner for the lounge were the finishing touches that have made our house truly feel like "home"! |
